Charity concert in Strasbourg

A charity concert organized by the Franco-German orchestra “AMALGAMME” was held on the 31 of March at the Strasbourg concert hall, under the patronage of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Armen Papikyan. The entire proceeds of that concert will be sent, on account of the associations “Solidarité Protestante France Arménie” and “Parole sans Frontière” to children in need and, in particular, to the Vardashen Special Education Centre in Armenia.

The opening of the concert was preceded by a speech delivered by Ambassador Armen Papikyan, in the course of which he thanked the Strasbourg Philharmonic orchestra and the Baden-Baden and Freiburg Symphony orchestras for their active and consistent participation in this humanitarian event, as well as the Strasbourg Conservatory for hosting the concert.
