Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian received the representatives of the high-ranking delegation of the Council of Europe

On November 25, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ara Aivazian received the Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe Christos Giakoumopoulos and the Political Director of the Council of Europe Alexander Gessel.

The Foreign Minister provided detailed information on the full-fledged humanitarian crisis in Artsakh and the steps being undertaken to address it. In this regard, Minister Aivazian stressed the urgency of creating appropriate conditions for the displaced Armenians of Artsakh to return to their places of residence as well as protecting and restoring their rights.

The sides stressed the need to undertake clear steps to preserve the cultural heritage of Artsakh.
