Armenian wine and brandy presented at the tasting organised at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Strasbourg

On 30 October 2013, the Armenian Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Armenian Development Agency and the Industrial Development Foundation of Armenia, organised tasting of Armenian wines and brandy at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Strasbourg.

The event was organised with the aim to present to the guests the tradition of viticulture and wine making in Armenia as well as a wide variety of products of the modern wine industry.

The guests have had an opportunity to test the Armenian wine and brandy, to savour the delicious taste of Armenian grapes.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Armen Papikyan, Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe, and Mr. Robert Harutyunyan, General Director of the Armenian Development Agency, as well as Mr. Jean-Louis Hoerlé, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Alsace Region.

Permanent Representatives of the Council of Europe member States, Consular Representatives in Strasbourg, Ms. Nawel Raffik-Elmrini, Vice-Mayor of Strasbourg, as well as elected officials and members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Strasbourg and the Alsace Region took part in the event.
